Case Study

Someday, Captured: An Executive's Memoir That Writes Itself

Client

The CEO of a financial services company (anonymized).

Challenge

Every executive says "I should write this all down someday" — and someday never comes. The standard options were hundreds of hours of writing time that didn't exist, or a ghostwriter, meaning months of interviews and trusting a third party with deeply personal stories. Meanwhile, the raw material kept scattering and fading.

Solution

KJ built Memoir Assistant around two ideas: capture should take seconds, and the content should never leave the owner's control. The executive speaks a memory into any device whenever it surfaces; the app transcribes it, files it into the right chapter, and drafts manuscript pages in the executive's own voice. The memoir lives in the executive's own storage — there's no vendor database holding it at all, the strongest possible answer to "where does my data live?"

Results

The memoir is now assembling itself continuously, from moments that were previously being lost.

Proof

Verified (qualitative): the client was very appreciative. No quantitative metrics captured yet.
